Having as a design principle the integration of the hotel in the built environment of Kontopouli settlement, the project develops in a two-story building with a basement. The 3-star hotel consists of 13 rooms that are designed both on the floor, and the first level. Public spaces such as reception area, seating room, and restaurant develop on the ground level, directly accessible to the public space while all the auxiliary spaces are accommodated on the basement. As a reference to the traditional courtyards where the outdoor, collective living of Greek island’s life, is enhanced, the breakfast room includes a patio covered by a wooden pergola.
